Windy Acres Inc. is a small-acreage farm located just a short drive from Cape May Court House. We started in the 70's with a garden, and an idea. My Father and my Grandfather wanted to grow the "Jersey" Tomatoe during the winter months. My Grandmother was part of a Garden Club and she loved to work with all kinds of plants. My Father was a landscaper and wanted to work at home, so they began contruction on a homemade greenhouse. From there they planted tomatoes and the word spred, all the way to north Jersey! People came from all over for our tomatoes. My grandmother notice this and  began selling some of her plants. It did so well they constructed a small retail building with a glass greenhouse . Due to high fuelprices in the mid 1970's, my father decided to stop growing the tomatoes and switched entirely to plants.  From these simple beginnings, we developed close relationships with local businesses and continue today to provide them with our products.
